Brother Clyde Surrett is the President and the founder of The Love of God Broadcast Ministries. I am Married to Jamie and we have three wonderful kids. Corey, Cody and Samantha Surrett.
In 2007 I got to help Baptize my to boys after their confession of faith.
It was the best day every! I can't wait till I get to
do the same with Samantha. I got saved in 1995 on an old ball field in Asheville, NC and My life has never been the same.
In 1996 I announced my call to preach and in 1997 I was Licensed to preach the Gospel by Highland Baptist Church. Clyde and His family are members of Highland Baptist Church in Leicester, NC.
The Love of God Broadcast Ministry was started out of Highland Baptist in 1997 and we where on the local radio station for over 10 years, In 2001 we sent of first broadcast on the web from our on site. God has really Blessed us and we are so thankful to able to offer Old Time Preaching from Highland here on our site.
Every fourth Sunday Highland has a song service, and with Gods help we will post it as well.
We want to lift up the name of Jesus in every thing we do.

Brother Randy Thomas is the Vice-President. Here is Brother Randy to tell you more about him and his family.
Hello, my name is Randy Thomas. I was born in Asheville, NC and raised in Woodfin, NC. As a child I went to the Woodfin Baptist Church and also the Woodfin Church of God. I currently attend the Elk Mountain Baptist Church. I have a beautiful wife Tina and two GREAT boys, Randy Jr. and Joshua.
I was saved when I was 12 years old. I strayed away from Christ in my late teens and came back to Christ when I was 25. I was called to preach in June of 2000. I always thought I should be preaching, but I never would come to terms with it. In 2000, God really started working on me. I had not seen Clyde in almost 10 years (we went to school together for 6 years). Then one day God brought us together after I had been thinking about him for about 2 months. He told me about TLGB Ministry and that he was preaching. I thought that was great. I started talking to him more and more, and then I told him about my calling. The rest is history as they say.
I love what I do and I think God for giving me the opportunity to do it. I think Clyde for letting me become part of the Ministry. My goal is to see as many people as I can come to Jesus Christ and be saved. We can't get to Heaven except through Jesus. I also want to help Christians remain Christians and keep their faith in God. Jesus will return one day, are you ready? Would you be in Heaven tomorrow if you died tonight? I hope your answer to these questions is YES! May God Bless you!

Hello, my name is Marc Penley. I was born and raised in Asheville, NC. I have two children, Dustin and Hannah. I also have a beautiful wife, Flo. God has richly blessed me with a wonderful family.
Thanks to those who prayed and were burdened for me. Jesus found me lost and on my way to hell. I thank God there was people with the power of God in their lives, that they’re light shinned in the darkest days of my life. I made many professions in the past, wanting fire security, but never was saved. I was saved the second week in January 1998 at Antioch Baptist Church in Madison County. My life was totally changed after I believed in the Lord, through faith, and truly repented of my sins. My wife was saved three years before at Carowins Theme Park. It was a hard three years for her, but thank God she stuck with me through thick and thin. The Lord delivered us out of a life of drugs and alcohol (sin). Satin lost a good servant that day, and Jesus didn’t get much. I know, however, that the Lord can use me in some way for His glory. God started dealing with me about a year later to preach. About the same time God lead my family to Woodland Terrace Baptist Church. I announced my calling March 30, 2000 after driving my pastor crazy with questions. The Lord has opened many doors in the ministry, since then. After a year under the watch care of the church, I was licensed to preach.
I currently have a broadcast on WKJV 1380am, every Sunday at 4:00pm called Anchored In Jesus. I also have a ministry at The Oaks Nursing Home every third Thursday of the month. I have known Bro. Clyde Surrett for many years, but the Lord brought us together again through the radio station. There I met Randy Thomas and we hooked up in the Spirit. After much prayer, Bro. Clyde and Bro. Randy felt lead to ask me to join The Love of God Broadcast Ministry. God gave me peace in my heart about it and so I accepted. I’m very excited about what the Lord is going to do and already has done with the Ministry. I am so unworthy to be a part of it. Only through the blood, mercy, grace, and righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ am I worthy.
